Corporate Overview
(press releases)
Fitness Trainers To Go was launched in 2003. Now in its third year in business it has experienced an overwhelmingly positive reaction from the Dallas/Ft. Worth community and has grown substantially in size. To keep up with the growth in 2005 Lady Trainers To Go, a division of Fitness Trainers To Go, was launched to meet the specific needs of their female clients.
CEO and founder Robert Korngiebel discovered a need for a private personal training business when he himself was struggling with weight gain. Uncomfortable and intimidated by the equipment and people he encountered at his gym, Robert hired a personal trainer. Now, many years later, he has gone one step further.
Fitness Trainers To Go provides clients with personal trainers who will bring the gym to them. By sending a trainer into a client’s home Fitness Trainers To Go removes the embarrassment of going to a gym and provides one-on-one support with an experienced, educated and energetic trainer who will motivate and hold their clients accountable to reaching their goals.
“I had joined clubs, gyms, before, paid for them in full thinking that I would go and I always had a reason not to… This time I have been doing it since January. I’m pumped, I feel better, I’m even actually starting to exercise when (my trainer) is not here. I’m 42 and it’s great to see my body get into shape. I’m seeing muscle and definition, weight loss, stamina and couldn’t be happier. It’s probably the best investment I have made in a long time.” --- Pam, Frisco
Fitness Trainers To Go has developed a unique system to train the body. Their programs simultaneously incorporate resistance training, yoga, Pilates and cardio conditioning. This overall approach prevents injury, increases flexibility, improves muscle tone, and promotes weight loss. For those wanting to shed extra pounds, trainers are able to monitor their client’s heart rate throughout the duration of the workout to ensure that the client stays within a targeted weight loss zone.
“My family and I have lost inches and pounds off of our waistline. I'm getting more fit and feeling better than I have in a long time.” --- Gene, Dallas
The trainers create personalized programs for each client on an individual basis. This generates a workout that is exponentially more effective than a generic routine offered at a gym. Their goal is to help clients achieve results in a safe and healthy way. Fitness Trainers To Go receives regular recommendations from local cardiologists and chiropractors, some of whom are clients themselves.
“I have been using Fitness Trainers To Go for several months and the payback so far has been considerable lost weight and greater energy and strength. I would recommend them to anybody who is living an on-the-go lifestyle and doesn’t particularly want to take the time to go to a traditional gym. It works great.” --- Tim, Lewisville
Korngiebel is a firm believer in the value of continuing education. His trainers update their techniques and learn additional exercises on a regular basis in order to maximize their client’s sessions. The trainers recognize that a monotonous routine gets boring and they are known for continually brining something new to their sessions.
“I'm a 46-year-old Fitness Trainers To Go client going on a year now. I have never exercised regularly in my life. So far I have lost 15 lbs and gained a much more toned physique. My trainer personally fits each workout to my overall goal of losing weight, but more importantly to become a healthier person. Each workout is different. I need to make it fun and my trainer comes up with fun ways and games that keep my interest. You will have me as a client for many more years to come.” --- Barbara, McKinney
Each personal trainer is nationally certified and has completed additional training including advanced cardio training, yoga, and Pilates. The trainers have also undergone a rigorous screening process that includes background checks and drug tests.
Fitness Trainers To Go often says, “Lose five pounds, everybody notices, gain ten and nobody does.” Their clients are getting noticed and are loving it!

Article/Tip of The Day
Home Exercise Tip: Multi-Plane Sports Cord Harness Squats
Multiplane Sports Cord Harness Squats: This is an excellent exercise to improve balance and functional strength in multiple planes and angles. It is also great for the weekend warrior and everyday activities. To perform this exercise correctly:
1. Begin by putting the sports cord around the torso. It is highly recommended that someone hold the other end of the sports cord at the bottom.
2. The first movement will be facing the person holding the cord. Place the hands behind the head and squat: see Prisoner Squats for correct form.
3. Repeat for a number of repetitions.
4. For the second movement, face the opposite direction of the person holding the sports cord. The person holding the cord might have to hold the cord straight out to the side. Place the hands behind the head and squat. Repeat for a number of repetitions.
5. For the third movement, face sideways: with the person holding the cord to the side of you. Place hands behind the head and squat. Repeat for a number of repetitions and switch directions.
